Decor Associate

About the Role

The Decor Associate supports daily operations related to event decor rentals. This is a hands-on role involving working with latex balloons, wooden arches, adhesive vinyl, packing rentals, warehouse organization, and assisting clients during pickups and drop-offs.

Key Responsibilities

Balloons & Marketing

  • Inflate, assemble, and create balloon garlands and clusters

  • Support designing and photoshooting of decor

  • Assist with social media and marketing content when needed

Wood & Paint

  • Sand, paint, and maintain wooden arches

  • Apply, remove, design, and materialize vinyl concepts

Kit Packing & Organization

  • Pack rental items and supplies

  • Maintain, organize, and store returned items

  • Check for damages or missing pieces

Customer Pickup & Drop-Off Support

  • Prepare items for scheduled pickups and returns

  • Work directly with clients during pickup and drop-off

  • Assist clients with loading and unloading décor items into their vehicles

Warehouse Support

  • Keep the workspace clean and organized

  • Restock commonly used supplies

  • Frequently lift and move 20-30lbs objects across distance of the warehouse

Skills & Requirements

  • Comfortable working with latex balloons, hot glue, paint, power & non-power tools, and basic woodwork

  • Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality and accuracy

  • Client-friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers

  • Able to frequently lift 20-30lbs objects across distance of the warehouse

  • Comfortable working with heights up to 16ft high and power tools

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Schedule, Location, and Wage

  • 18 hours per week, with room to extend to 28 in the future

  • In-person work required. Work is mantarory on Sundays for 6 hours to start, depending on needs. Remaining days can be determined upon qualifying for the role

  • Location: 3420 Pharmacy Ave. Unit 17

  • $17.60 CAD per hour
